Hideko Takahashi was born in Osaka, Japan and moved to the U.S. in 1990 to attend the Otis College of Art & Design in L.A. Besides loving to draw "cute little people, dogs and bugs" Hideko loves her adopted home of Seattle, Washington. She has illustrated many children's books including Beach Play, Goodnight God Bless, Hot Dog on TV and Lull-a-bye, Little One.
